Hillen Druek, PLLC is a boutique matrimonial and family law firm serving individuals and families throughout Long Island, with offices in Islandia, Westhampton Beach, and Carle Place. Our practice is dedicated exclusively to divorce and family law, and our attorneys bring more than thirty years of combined experience to every case. We built the firm around a simple belief: when clients have clear, honest information from the start, they make better decisions and move forward with more confidence.
Our History
Hillen Druek, PLLC grew out of a well-established matrimonial practice that began as part of Vlahadamis & Hillen, LLC, founded in 2010. After years of serving as Managing Director of that firm’s matrimonial and family law department, Evans Hillen set out to build a dedicated boutique practice focused solely on matrimonial and family law. He established Hillen Law, PLLC with the goal of creating a cohesive, high-level practice grounded in experience, efficiency, and client-focused representation, and the firm then focused on partnering with premier talent in the field.
When Brandon Druek joined in 2025, the firm was rebranded as Hillen Druek, PLLC to reflect both the evolution of the practice and its expanded leadership. The name is new, but the foundation behind it is not. It rests on more than a decade of matrimonial and family law work, now refined into a focused boutique practice.

Our firm handles divorce, contested and uncontested divorce, child custody, child support, paternity and parental rights, grandparents’ rights, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, modification and enforcement, and QDROs. We are especially experienced with high-asset divorces and the division of retirement accounts, including LIRR and MTA pensions.
Our Attorneys
Brandon M. Druek, Esq., Managing Partner, focuses on high-asset divorces, equitable distribution, and retirement account division. He works closely with QDRO specialists and plan administrators to protect assets and shape settlement agreements around each client’s financial goals.
Evans M. Hillen, Esq., Founding Partner, brings a background in banking and finance to his legal practice. He combines technical financial knowledge with courtroom experience and a client-first approach to matrimonial and family court matters.
Catherine C. DeSanto, Esq., Of Counsel, brings nearly three decades of legal experience to the firm. She handles a wide range of family law matters with the goal of reaching collaborative, amicable resolutions, and she litigates when a case requires it.
